candle care

Your first burn is extremely important because it sets the tone for subsequent burns. When you burn your candle for the first time, burn it until the wax reaches the edges. Typically, this can take 4-5 hours. Allowing the wax to meet the edges will ensure your candle has a full melt pool, which helps to give off the most scent. After this initial burn, try to continue to let the wax reach the edges to prevent tunneling. For more tips on taking care of your candles visit our December blog post titled 'Caring for Your Candles.'
